Benefiting the Missouri Women’s Business Center

The Missouri Women’s Business Center (MoWBC) is an SBA-funded program of Central Missouri Community Action. The MoWBC assists entrepreneurs in all stages of business by providing resources, support, and mentoring. Offerings include free one-on-one counseling, low-cost training events, business planning services and more. The MoWBC depends on local partnerships and donations to operate in an eight-county service area as part of a match requirement through SBA. Since opening in 2016, the MoWBC has helped launch over 20 businesses and provided training and counseling to over 1000 women in Mid-MO.
